Andrew Guy-Billups
Music Director
Email Andrew

Andrew was raised just across the water in Seattle. He grew up attending the First Free Methodist Church and visited the Queen Anne United Methodist church with grandparents. He took an early love to music, singing in children's choir, taking piano lessons, playing instruments like Clarinet & Bassoon through grade school, and later singing as an adult in the church's choir.
UW alumnus, Andrew met his husband Rob through their shared love of theater.  They moved to the Bremerton area in 2021 and have been enjoying the community and are pleased to find a home with the UMC.  Outside of his day job working in Architecture, you may find Andrew cooking, tinkering with an electronics or house project, gardening, and daydreaming about boating.

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is within the ancestral territory of the suq̀ʷabš “People of Clear Salt Water” (Suquamish People). Expert fishermen, canoe builders, and basket weavers, the suq̀ʷabš live in harmony with the lands and waterways along Washington’s Central Salish Sea as they have for thousands of years. Here, the suq̀ʷabš live and protect the land and waters of their ancestors for future generations as promised by the Point Elliot Treaty of 1855.
